But not many customers know what UV coating is or how gloss UV coating can enhance their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.printivity.com\/marketing\">print marketing<\/a> materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is UV Coating?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cUV\u201d in UV Coating stands for ultraviolet. It is a liquid coating that is applied to a printed sheet then <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/UV_coating#Ultraviolet_coatings_in_printing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cured <\/a>under an ultraviolet light. The bright, ultraviolet light makes the coating give off a glossier finish.
